I guess it's more than a discipline issue... whatever, I'll work it all out. Or perish mediocre in comparison...

I've yet to buy any plants yet. Various payments have been bouncing as it is lately, but I look up to the day... it's my own fault, really. I need more discipline to get shit done.

Ooof I hear that. I’m rubbish with money😭

Gustave Deresse's avatar

But dare I say the money itself being rubbish these days doesn't quite help us out either? It's a team effort, at the very least...

Honeygloom's avatar

Everything is so expensive😭 How does something that’s not even real cause so much stress?

Gustave Deresse's avatar

Influence, I'll say... over generations, from creating the problem, to selling it, to fooling everyone into rejecting the antidote themselves... the fake money has effectively been made real, and even on the "smallest", most direct level of personal power, straight up stress management facing any conundrum, largescale institutions are employed towards keeping us helpless... I mean schools and big entertainment alone, promoting average mental health issues right down to stress as insurmountable without pharmaceuticals, or portraying conscious thought and basic self-care, including healthy diet and breathing itself, as quirky, unpleasant, or ineffective... and then there's the difficulty of relaxing when you can't ignore something's wrong. Stress evolved to help us resolve situations... in nature. Where now the average threats is less likely to kill us (quickly), it's still harder to resolve. The system, while formed naturally, is unnatural...it's definitely not the most useful part to focus on though. Some form of evil or another will always exist, at some point we can only look inwards for refuge, for a chance to extend that refuge outwards.

That’s actually a really lovely thought at the end there, find refuge and share it. I love that☺️

I always love mutant action. This was a delightful little post full of color that is dearly needed in this odd winter. Love my snake plant, it might be the strongest plant I've had the pleasure to care for.

Snake plants are awesome! So easy and really beautiful.

We have a ghost plant in our backyard. I would post a picture here if I could. They are fascinating!

I’ve never seen one in the wild. I would love to though!
